Sorry family, ate some whale.  It wasn't the first time I did it too.  I had some kind of whale katsu before and it was ok.  I got this after visiting the Kouchi (Shikoku) museum where they proudly displayed dioramas of whales being slaughtered by the locals.  It was already dead so I went for it.  The taste, well, is ok.  It's hard to tell if it was the marinate that was used or its just how whale tastes.  either way, we dont need to be killing them for food now-a-days.  It was a little gamey tasting with not a fishy taste, but an ocean taste with a hint of the dry docks.

The packaging lost points just because of the stiff competition out there from other jerky heavy hitters.  A fan on the plate might work well in a restaurant, but for jerky in a bag I want it jumping through fire riding a bull and kicking the shit out of Greenpeace with pierced nipples.  Just sayin.

This is one of those "chick" snacks.  The kind that makes all the girls with faked black-shinned tans that would rival a peking duck say, "kawaii~".  I was hoping for it to have some kind of pop rocks effect or something.  Instead it tastes like strawberries.  Not that is bad, I just wanted more with what was advertised.  I gotta cut KitKat a break though (haha LOLZ), they consistently try to make something new.  I just hope they dont let the interns make any suggestions in the future.

The box has some snazzy sparkles again and is better than a few I had seen in the past.  The end.

A perfect score!!  Wow!  I can't put into words (but I will) the satisfaction I got from this one.  I was a bit worried with the cost of cocoa recently and the trend to use lots of cocoa butter in chocolates aka lots 'o white chocolate garbage but out from the dark came this masterpiece.  Its covered in dark chocolate and has a great raspberry taste that is a perfect mix.  I ate my king's ransom of these.

The box art has some nice embossing, hearts that I guess are meant towards the receiver of this fine gift, and even the inside is colored.  No expense was spared in every aspect of this kat.  Bravo Nestle.

Not sure what to do with this one as I have no idea what the REAL taste should be.  I like chicken, who doesn't, but this one makes me wish I was a beef man.  I had tried the fiesta version of Cratz and it was pretty vomity.  This one is less vomity, but is that really an improvement?  I didnt have a beer with it as it is suggested on the package but I prefer my snacks to taste awesome sans alcohol.  Alcohol should be a flavor enhancer, not a masker.

I liked the "thanksgiving" like look of the packaging but thats about it.
